Hansi: A grand sub-division-level function was organized in the auditorium of the local SD Women's College to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram. MLA Vinod Bhayana was the chief guest, while SDM Rajesh Khoth presided over the function. College Principal Dr. Suresh Kumar Gupta, BJP spokesperson Neha Dhawan, Market Committee Vice President Surjeet Gurjar, and several other dignitaries from the area were present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that Vande Mataram is not just a song, but a source of inspiration for India's soul, pride, and the indomitable courage of the freedom struggle. This song is the heartbeat of every Indian, providing new direction and energy to the freedom movement. Whenever the powerful voice of this song resonates, it awakens the spirit of sacrifice, dedication, and devotion to the motherland in the hearts of patriots.
He said that we should draw inspiration from the ideals and sacrifices of the freedom fighters and contribute our best to nation-building. Appealing to the youth, he said that the dreams of the youth will determine the path of the future India. Their hard work, honesty, and values will take India to new heights. Today, the world is looking towards India with hope. At such a time, we must move forward by incorporating the resolutions of Digital India, Clean India, Self-reliant India, women empowerment, environmental protection, and social harmony into our lives.
The live broadcast of the state-level function was shown on the screen during the program. Students from the Women's College gave cultural performances imbued with patriotic spirit, of which the performances of Kiran, Mansi, Muskan, and Prachi received special praise.
SDM Rajesh Khoth congratulated the citizens on the completion of 150 years of the National Anthem. During this, he asked questions from the students related to the national song and state song and honoured the winning students by giving them prizes.
On this occasion, CM Window Eminent Person Ompal Yadav, Block Committee Chairman Representative Subhash Yadav, CM Window Eminent Person Anil Kumar, former Chairman Representative Vinod Saini, MLA's personal secretary Ravi Arora and many BJP officials, workers and eminent citizens of the city were present.
