Mohali, February 20: An important meeting of the Governing Body of the Mohali Press Club was held at the club, chaired by Executive President Mr. Sushil Garcha. General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi, Vice Presidents Manjit Singh Chana and Vijay Pal, Organizing Secretary Madam Neelam Thakur, Treasurer Rajiv Taneja, and Joint Secretary Vijay Kumar participated. Following discussions at the meeting, it was decided to organize a free medical check-up camp for the welfare of the journalist community and their families.
As a result, the Mohali Press Club, in collaboration with the Shri Guru Ravidas Medical Team and other organizations, has decided to organize a free medical check-up camp on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, at the club's office, Kothi No. 387, Phase 2, Mohali (Backside Road, Phase 2-4). Sandeep Kumar, coordinator of the Shri Guru Ravidas Medical Team, and team members Kuldeep Singh, Harman, and Pawan Kumar stated that Dr. Suchint Rani and his team, and Dr. Jaspreet and his team, will provide free medical and dental treatment at this camp.
Renowned dietitian, Uttar, Dr. KS Kochhar, skin specialist, Dr. HS Chauhan, general physician and dermatologist, Dr. Saksham, Ayurveda Cure Diagnostic Mohali, BDC Laboratory, and EXG Center will conduct free kidney tests for uric acid, blood urea, creatinine, electrolytes sodium, potassium, chloride, blood sugar, and more.
Club manager, Mr. Jagdish Sharda, announced that this free medical check-up camp will be held on February 22, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Press Club, Mohali. He urged all club members, family members, and others to attend and benefit as much as possible.
