Chandigarh, June 01:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the officials should not be negligent in resolving public complaints. The priority of the government is to provide immediate relief to the common citizens, therefore, every complaint should be investigated seriously and its resolution should be ensured within the stipulated time. The Chief Minister said that the officials should maintain dialogue with the public and adopt a positive and responsive approach to resolve problems, so that people do not have to go through unnecessary rounds of government offices and the administrative system can become more effective and public-interest.

The Chief Minister was presiding over the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Monday. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Mrs. Bimla Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Mr. Tejpal Tanwar, Gurugram MLA Mr. Mukesh Sharma were also present in the meeting. A total of 16 complaints were placed in the meeting, out of which the Chief Minister disposed of 13 on the spot, while 03 cases were directed to be kept pending (pending) till the next meeting. He directed the concerned officers to present the status report of these pending cases in the next meeting.

All departments to work in coordination in road improvement works- Chief Minister
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini reviewed the complaints related to the road system and infrastructure of Gurugram in detail during the meeting. During this, he took department-wise information from the officials of HSIIDC, PWD, Municipal Corporation Gurugram and GMDA and sought responses on the condition of roads in various areas. The Chief Minister said that the officers should identify the places where road repair or reconstruction is required not only on the basis of the complaints received but also by conducting regular inspections of the area. He directed that all the necessary road improvement works should be completed on time, giving top priority to the convenience of the citizens.
The Chief Minister also directed the officers to regularly monitor the complaints received on the state government’s ‘Mahari Sadak’ app and ensure their prompt resolution. He said that various departments should work in coordination so that any road related problem can be resolved quickly and better and safer transport facilities can be provided to the common people.
Instructions for strict action in the case of fraudulent house grabbing
In the meeting, a woman complainant from Laxman Vihar expressed her grievance before the Chief Minister that a financier, misusing the trust during the loan transaction, fraudulently got her house registered in his name. The complainant said that he is ready to return the remaining amount, but despite this, the financier is still in possession of the house. Taking the matter seriously, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini directed the concerned officers to immediately investigate. He also asked them to investigate the role of the concerned Tehsildar who was posted during the registration process and take action against him as per the rules. Along with this, the Chief Minister directed that the complainant should be given justice as soon as possible by taking police action against the financier and the house should be freed from possession.
Instructions given to prepare a detailed report on the problems of Sector 4
In the meeting, a complainant residing in Sector-4 raised the issue of problems related to water filling, drinking water supply, sewerage and other basic amenities in the area before the Chief Minister. Taking the complaint seriously, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini directed the officers to prepare a detailed report by conducting a comprehensive survey of all the major problems existing in Sector-4.
The Chief Minister said that transparency and accountability are very important in resolving public grievances. He also directed the CM Window Head to personally contact the complainant before closing any complaint and ensure his satisfaction. The resolution of the complaint should be finalized only after the consent and satisfaction of the complainant is obtained, so that the common people can get real relief and their faith in the grievance redressal system is further strengthened. On this occasion, Gurugram Mayor Rajrani Malhotra, Manesar Mayor Dr. Inderjit Kaur, GMDA CEO P.C. Meena, OSD to the Chief Minister and Additional Director of Information, Public Relations and Languages ??Department Vivek Kalia along with other officers and employees were present.
