Ratia, January 15: Sandeep Kumar, a powerlifter from Phulan village in Ratia, who has earned a name for himself at the international level, embarked on a unique journey with his son to inspire the youth of the Ratia region to stay away from drugs. He performed push-ups throughout the city, from Sardulgarh Kanchi to the new bus stand. The objective of this journey was to encourage young people to stay away from drugs and engage in sports and other physical activities.
The aim was to motivate the youth to build strong and healthy bodies through sports and other means, instead of destroying their bodies with drugs. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Sandeep Kumar said that many young people in the Ratia region are falling prey to drug addiction, and he wishes that the youth of the Ratia region and the entire state would come out of the quagmire of drugs and make their bodies healthy by participating in sports, yoga, and other physical activities, instead of weakening their bodies by getting involved in drug addiction.
He explained that as a powerlifter, he knows that performing push-ups and other exercises generates a special kind of energy in the body, and similarly, practicing yoga and other physical activities helps maintain energy in the body.
He said that young people who are addicted to drugs should stay away from them and engage in physical activities, focusing their minds on various sports and yoga. This unique journey of international player Sandeep Kumar is being appreciated throughout the city. Sandeep Kumar also praised the anti-drug campaign of the Superintendent of Police.
