Haroli/Una, July 23: A felicitation conference for public representatives was organized on Thursday to honor the newly elected *Pradhans* (village heads) and *Up-Pradhans* (deputy village heads) of the Haroli Assembly constituency. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri presided over the event held at Hotel Gulmohar in Una. Extending his best wishes to the newly elected representatives, he expressed confidence that they would live up to the public's expectations and play a pivotal role in the development of their villages.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri stated that panchayat representatives constitute the strongest link in democracy and are the true driving force behind village development. He urged all representatives to work with transparency and dedication while taking the public along. He assured them of full support at every level to ensure that no obstacles hinder the development activities of the panchayats.
He noted that the Haroli Assembly constituency has carved a distinct identity for itself in the state regarding development. Now, everyone must work together to further strengthen the 'Haroli Brand.' He emphasized that development and public welfare remain his top priorities.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured that the issues, suggestions, and expectations of the panchayat representatives would be heard with the utmost seriousness. Their voices would be fully respected, and action on all matters concerning the panchayats would be ensured on a priority basis.
He stated that development work across sectors—including education, health, drinking water, roads, sports, employment, and public welfare—would continue uninterrupted in the Haroli Assembly constituency. Balanced and planned development of every panchayat would be ensured so that the benefits of progress reach every section of society.
The newly elected *Pradhans* and *Up-Pradhans* present at the conference took a collective pledge to take the Haroli Assembly constituency to new heights of development under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. They expressed their commitment to steering the development of each panchayat in a new direction through public participation, mutual coordination, and transparency. Speaking on the occasion, Ranjeet Singh Rana—General Secretary of the State Congress Committee and Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Panjabar—stated that all elected representatives would work with dedication to take the development of the Haroli Assembly constituency to new heights.
