Chandigarh, October 28 - Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that the state government is making efforts to provide health facilities to the people of the state near their homes. Apart from cities and towns, new health centers are being opened at the rural level as well and in view of the population growth, many institutions are being upgraded.
Aarti Singh Rao gave this information while listening to the problems of the people who came to meet her at her Chandigarh office today.
She said that on the demand of the villagers, the sub-health center built in Dulheri village of Bhiwani district has been approved to be upgraded to a primary health center and the process of appointment of medical officers and other staff there will be started soon.
The Health Minister further informed that approval has also been given to open a sub-health center in village Khiluka of Palwal district and instructions have been given to start the process of recruitment of staff in this too soon. He said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini is continuously striving to provide cheap and accessible medical services to the people of the state. The health department is purchasing essential medicines and equipment so that people can get cheap treatment.
