Haryana/Hisar: A meeting of trade representatives was held at a private hotel in Tohana under the chairmanship of Bajrang Garg, Provincial President of the Haryana Pradesh Vyapar Mandal and former Chairman of the Haryana Confed. The problems of traders were discussed in this meeting. After the meeting, Bajrang Garg, Provincial President of the Vyapar Mandal, said in a press conference that traders and industrialists across the country and state are working day and night to pay crores of rupees in taxes to the government.
The government should give traders a 5% commission on any tax collected by traders as an incentive. Traders, however, in order to collect taxes from the public, incur all the expenses, including CA, bank charges, accounting, stationery charges, etc., from their own homes. If any mistake is made in billing or transactions, traders have to pay exorbitant taxes and fines, and the sword of bureaucracy hangs over them 24 hours a day.
Moreover, traders have to pay 30 percent income tax on their sales to the central government, but despite all this, they receive nothing from the government, which is unfair. Bajrang Garg said that the central and state governments need to provide maximum facilities to promote trade and industry so that millions of unemployed youth can find employment. Today, Haryana ranks first in the country in terms of unemployment and crime.
The open drug trade is flourishing in Haryana, causing the young generation to sink into the quagmire of addiction. Drug addiction is a sweet poison that is ruining our youth. The government should take the strictest possible measures to curb crime and drug abuse. The government should enact a law providing for the death penalty for drug traffickers in the country and state, so that no criminal will dare to engage in drug trafficking in the future.
To eradicate crime, the government needs to firmly punish criminals. The government needs to end crime by taking appropriate action against the criminals who are demanding ransom by firing.
