Haroli/Una, June 5 (Rajveer Chopra): The final prayer service in memory of the late Shri Ram Ji—a resident of Alowal village who had bid a final farewell to his family and well-wishers a few days ago—was organized at the Gurdwara Sri Guru Ravidas Sahib located in his ancestral village.
On this occasion, Baba Kewal Singh, the chief caretaker (*Sewadar*) of the holy site Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, delivered a spiritual message to the congregation through *Gurbani* and *Satsang* (spiritual discourse). He stated that a human being enters this world by the will of the Almighty and departs according to His command; this is an immutable law of nature. He emphasized that everyone should lead their life devoted to God, serving the needy, and walking the path of truth.
Remembering the late Shri Ram Ji, Baba Kewal Singh described him as a hardworking, religious, soft-spoken, and noble-natured individual. He had worked tirelessly throughout his life and carved a distinct identity for himself in society. His passing is an irreparable loss to both his family and the community.
The late Shri Ram Ji is survived by a large family, including his sons Surjit Kumar Sabi and Kulvinder Kumar Binda, and his daughters Jasvir Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Rekha Rani, Manjinder Kaur, and Neetu Rani.
A large number of people from the congregation attended the event to offer prayers for the peace of the departed soul. Attendees included Ramjit Sood, Sarpanch Manjit Sood, former Sarpanch Tilak Raj, Bhupinder Sood, Dilbag Sood, Lakhvinder Singh, Ashok Singh, Chet Ram, Manpreet, Parvinder Singh, Davinder Singh, Head Granthi Baba Pritam Singh, Baba Jagir Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Nambardar Gurmel Singh, and contractor Dilbag Singh Sahungra.
