Karnal, October 14: Under the Chief Minister's Rural Housing Scheme 2.0 (Phase II), 1,587 beneficiaries from 23 villages were allotted 100-yard residential plots through an online draw at the Dr. Mangalsen Auditorium on Tuesday. The process was completed through the digital system of the Haryana Urban Development Authority, ensuring complete fairness and transparency.
Congratulating the beneficiaries on this occasion, ADC Sonu Bhatt said that the dream of poor people to own a home will be realized through the Chief Minister's Rural Housing Scheme. The Haryana government's objective is to ensure that no poor person in the state remains without a home, meaning that every poor family should have a roof over their head. This scheme is an important step towards Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's public welfare vision and improving the living standards of the poor.
He said that through a transparent draw of lots, 100-yard residential plots have been allotted to poor families, benefiting the needy and deserving. He added that the administration will soon register the plots allotted today. Beneficiaries will only need to deposit ?1,000. Additionally, beneficiaries will also benefit from a government-run scheme under which they can construct houses.

The ADC, while providing details about the block-wise allocation of 100-yard plots, stated that under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme 2.0 (Phase II), 66 beneficiaries from Karnal block, 144 beneficiaries from Indri block, 611 beneficiaries from Nilokheri block, 113 beneficiaries from Kunjpura block, 135 beneficiaries from Munak, and 518 beneficiaries from Nising block were allotted plots through an online draw.
