Hoshiarpur:- The discussion of Punjab having a debt of 4 lakh crores is gaining momentum and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has made a false attempt to gain fame by exposing the previous governments. But the previous Akali BJP and Congress governments imposed a debt of 3.5 lakh crores on Punjab and now Bhagwant Mann's government has imposed a debt of 1.25 lakh crores on Punjab.
These views were expressed by Gurnam Singh Singriwala, District President, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), while talking to Sandeep Singh Khalsa, District Youth President and Manjinder Singh Johal, General Secretary, Circle Tanda.
At this time, Singriwala said that before coming to power, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was making big claims of development and also boasting about repaying the debt that had accumulated in Punjab. But now the Bhagwant Mann government has also taken loans on a large scale and brought Punjab under the grip of debt. Which the people of Punjab will not tolerate and will give a befitting reply in the upcoming elections.
