Jaito, November 28: Encouraged by the changing political equations of Punjab and the party's excellent performance in the Tarn Taran by-election, the Shiromani Akali Dal has geared up for the upcoming Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections. In this series, an important strategic meeting of senior leaders of the Khadoor Sahib constituency was held today under the leadership of party vice president and former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura.
In the meeting, giving evidence of the strength of the party, all the leaders unanimously handed over all the rights to select candidates to Mr. Brahmpura. On this occasion, infusing new enthusiasm among the workers, Mr. Brahmpura argued that the Tarn Taran results were not limited to just one election, but they are an indication of the ongoing movement against the 'AAP' government in the state. He said, "The fate of Punjab has changed.
People have seen that parties running from Delhi cannot do good for Punjab. Therefore, the Shiromani Akali Dal has decided that the upcoming local elections will be fought on the party's election symbol 'Takdi' so that the opponents can know the real basis of the party. Mr. Brahmpura further said that just as a palace stands only on a strong foundation, similarly the victory of the Zila Parishads and Block Samitis will lay the foundation for the 2027 assembly elections.
He claimed that in these elections, the Akali Dal will win again and make its chairman and in 2027, the people of Punjab will make Sukhbir Singh Badal the Chief Minister and hand over the reins of the state to the Panthic hands again.
On this occasion, among others, Shiromani Akali Dal State Vice President Kuldeep Singh Aulakh, State Vice President Jatha: Dalbir Singh Jahangir, Youth Akali Dal Core Committee Member Gursewak Singh The entire leadership including Sheikh, Block Samiti Member Satnam Singh Chohla Sahib and Youth General Secretary Kuldeep Singh Lahoria were present. Shiromani Akali Dal Vice President Ravinder Singh Brahmpura and other senior leaders led an important meeting regarding Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections at Khadoor Sahib.
