Fatehabad, February 8: As a result of the visionary and sensitive approach of Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, Fatehabad district is now firmly moving towards a drug-free society. On one hand, Fatehabad police have taken strict action against drug dealers, putting hundreds of drug traffickers behind bars, while on the other hand, under the "Operation Jeevan Jyoti" campaign, the humane work of rescuing drug-addicted youth from the clutches of addiction and integrating them into the mainstream of society is being continuously carried out.
The anti-drug team is constantly contacting young people trapped in drug addiction, boosting their morale, providing them with treatment, and motivating them towards a positive life. Under this campaign, hundreds of young people have been freed from the grip of drugs and given the opportunity to live a respectable and social life.
Inspired by this commendable approach of Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, responsible and social service organizations are now also coming forward to join this noble cause. In this regard, the Agarwal Sabha has made a commendable and exemplary initiative by contributing significantly to the treatment of drug-addicted youth.
The President of the Agarwal Sabha, Subhash Garg, dedicated a "langar" (community kitchen) of homeopathic and allopathic medicines worth approximately ?50,000 at the auditorium hall of the Police Lines Fatehabad, at his personal expense, to the anti-drug campaign. These medicines will be used in the treatment and rehabilitation of drug-affected youth so that they can recover quickly and return to the mainstream of society.
On this occasion, the in-charge of the anti-drug team, Sub-Inspector Sundar Lal, former secretary of the Agarwal Sabha, Mr. Sushil Kumar Bansal, and other police personnel of the anti-drug team were also present.
During the program, Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, expressed his gratitude to the President of the Agarwal Sabha, Subhash Garg, and the entire Agarwal Sabha, saying that this work is an excellent example in the direction of humanity and social welfare. He said that drug-addicted youth are the future of our society, who have fallen prey to drugs due to bad company or going astray. These young people need love, support, and encouragement, not punishment. Helping them escape the clutches of drug addiction is the primary objective of the Fatehabad Police.
The Superintendent of Police also appealed to other social organizations and responsible citizens to come forward and contribute to this anti-drug campaign and participate in this social endeavor, so that Fatehabad can be made completely drug-free.
