Patiala:- On the occasion of World Children's Protection, Health, Safety, Health and Welfare Day of Children and Minors on 20th November, the United Nations and UNICEF have appealed to the parents, governments and education and health protection institutions of the world to make children and minors aware of the world peace, love, compassion, humility and discipline.
In this regard, Punjab Police Traffic Education Cell Patiala and First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission organized a special program to make the students of high and secondary classes aware at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Dhakala under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Seema Rani.
The objectives of the United Nations and UNICEF are to protect children from wandering, accidents, drug crimes, bad deeds and bad elements. Inspector Sarabjit Kaur and ASI Ram Saran of the Police Traffic Education Cell, while making more than 500 students aware of their rights and duties, responsibilities, said that children should follow the rules, laws, principles and duties made by their parents, elders, education, police departments. Children should be encouraged to follow the rules, laws and principles of the country, society, home, family, nature and environment.
Due to whims, carelessness, conversations, fashions and dreams of becoming rich overnight or actors without hard work, minors and youth face physical, mental, social, economic, problems and troubles. He told the students that for good physical, mental, social, economic, community environment health, wellness and well-being, they should use natural fruits, vegetables, pulses, salads, food, clean water and air instead of fast food, junk food, cold drinks and drugs.
Chief Trainer of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission Shri Kaka Ram Verma encouraged them to take trainings on First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, Disaster Management to protect their homes, family members and areas during natural, seasonal and human disasters, traffic accidents and domestic incidents. He gave information on how to avoid incidents of heart attacks, cardiac arrest, fainting, shock, sugar, blood pressure drop, fires, gases, electric short circuits, fireplaces etc. in winter.
Principal Mrs. Seema Rani and staff members thanked Punjab Police, Traffic Education Cell and Disaster Management First Aid Trainer Mr. Kaka Ram Verma and said that in today's time, commendable efforts are being made by the Punjab Government, Punjab Police and the administration to make the students aware, safe, healthy, happy and progressed.
