Patiala:- The residents of the area have made a strong demand in writing to the Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Mayor and SSP Patiala regarding the immediate removal of the shacks built by dog ??lovers in Joginder Nagar of Badungar under Ward No. 56.
Sharanjit Singh, Kulbir Singh Brar, Manmukh Singh and Jasbir Singh handed over a memorandum signed by all the residents of the area to Mayor Kundan Gogia and Commissioner Paramjit Singh and said that for a long time in Joginder Nagar, small huts built by some people from other colonies for stray dogs are spoiling the beauty of the area, while 15 to 20 dogs living here are making the noisy ones a victim of their teeth.
Many incidents related to dogs have occurred while passing through here with school children, elderly people and two-wheeler drivers. If there is a storm at a house, then the relatives who come here also have to face the fear of dogs. They said that dog lovers were stopped from building huts here many times. Despite this, they are not stopping from building night shelters for dogs here.
He said that the filth spreading due to dog excrement is destroying the cleanliness here. He demanded that in order to prevent daily accidents and to free the people of the area from fear, arrangements should be made for night shelter at some other place for these workers. In this regard, Surinder Kaur, Sadhu Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gursewak Singh, Adarsh ??Singh, Rajdeep Kaur, Neeraj, Jaspreet Kaur, Jeet Singh, Manjit Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Sham Lal etc. are included as the names of the demanders.
