Chandigarh, February 11:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, during the review meeting of the State Progress Dashboard held in Chandigarh on Wednesday, directed the officials to strictly monitor the progress of mega projects underway in the state and expedite their implementation, so that all the projects can be completed within the stipulated time frame.
The Chief Minister said that all major projects costing more than Rs. 75 crore should be uploaded on the State Progress Dashboard, which can ensure their real-time monitoring at various levels. He clarified that continuous monitoring should be done to ensure quality and timely completion of construction works.
Taking strict action on the delay in the projects, Mr. Saini said that no negligence or laxity will be tolerated in the works of the agencies to which the construction work has been allotted. He directed the officers to take action against the agencies due to which the construction work is being delayed as per the prescribed rules.
In the meeting, a detailed review of eight mega projects related to the Town and Country Planning Department and the Urban Local Corporation Department was done. The Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to complete these projects within the stipulated time, so that the common public can get the benefit of them soon.
On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Khullar, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Dr. Sumita Mishra, Mr. A. K. Singh, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar, Commissioner and Secretary Finance Mr. Mohammad Shine, Chief Administrator HSVP Mr. Chandra Shekhar Khare, Special Secretary (Monitoring and Coordination) Dr. Priyanka Soni and other senior officials were present.
