Karnal, January 14: The threat of stray dogs has resurfaced in Karnal. A pack of three or four dogs suddenly attacked a child playing near his home. The dogs bit the child in several places, leaving him seriously injured. Hearing the child's cries, people from the neighborhood rushed to the scene and somehow rescued him from the dogs. The incident has created a climate of fear in the area, and people are afraid to let their children go outside.
The injured child, Rajdaksh, said that he was at home and wasn't feeling well. He had asked his mother for permission to go outside and play for a short time. His mother was sitting outside in the sun. The child had just reached the other side of the street when three or four dogs pounced on him and started biting him. He couldn't react to the sudden attack and fell to the ground.

**Mother and Neighbor Save Child's Life**
Upon hearing the child's screams, his mother immediately rushed to the spot. At the same time, a neighbor also arrived. Together, they chased the dogs away and safely rescued the child. Without delay, the family took him to the hospital, where doctors cleaned his wounds and applied stitches in several places. He was also given necessary injections.

**Dog Had Bitten Others Before, Yet No Concrete Action Taken**
The child's mother, Ruby, said that there is a dog in the street that has bitten several people before. The municipal corporation team had caught the dogs some time ago, but later released them. Since then, the same dog has become even more aggressive. Now, there is a constant fear when walking down the street that it might attack someone again.

**Dogs Chase Motorcyclists, Increasing Risk of Accidents**
The child's father, Ajay, said that the stray dogs sometimes chase pedestrians and sometimes chase motorcyclists, increasing the risk of falls and road accidents. They say that similar incidents have occurred in the area before, but the administration has not taken any permanent measures.

**Preparing to file a complaint with the municipal corporation**
The family and local residents say that the stray dogs should be removed from the area and taken to a safe place so that such an incident does not happen to anyone else in the future. A ??complaint will be filed with the municipal corporation for this purpose. The people are demanding that instead of simply catching and releasing the dogs, concrete and effective steps be taken to ensure the safety of children, the elderly, and pedestrians.
