Jalandhar:- Rajesh Bagha, Chief Advisor of Scheduled Castes Entrepreneur Empowerment Forum and former chairman of Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes, has said that youth awareness camps will soon be organized in all districts of the state to deal with the problem of drugs in Punjab.
Rajesh Bagha said that a comprehensive awareness campaign against drugs will be launched, in which people will be made aware about the ill effects of drugs by linking social service organizations. Along with this, the youth will be connected to employment opportunities and they will be motivated to stay away from drug abuse.
He said that the deaths due to drugs every month are a matter of serious concern for Punjab. Therefore, every section of the society needs to work together against this social evil.
Rajesh Bagha said that Punjab is known all over the world for its rich cultural heritage and civilization. The youth of Punjab have made significant contributions to the country's independence and progress, therefore, saving them from drugs and guiding them in the right direction is the main need of the hour.
