Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 10, 2026:- Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross SAS Nagar Smt. Komal Mittal, St. John Ambulance organized a training camp on Home Nursing Training from January 28 to February 10, 2026 at the District Administrative Complex, in which Indian Red Cross trainer Sandeep Singh trained the trainees to serve the patient at the patient's home and to work as an assistant nurse in the hospital.
In which the trainees were trained on patient observation, cleanliness and grooming of the patient, patient's room, bed, diet, care and use of medicines, common diseases and their treatment, bandages etc. After this training, they can serve the patient at the patient's home and work as an assistant nurse in the hospital. Shri Harbans Singh, Secretary, informed the trainees about the principles and history of the Red Cross and told about the work being done by the organization for the welfare of the poor, patients, needy and disabled in the district and appealed to join the organization and serve humanity.
