Hansi, September 16:- The Municipal Council is continuously conducting a special cleanliness drive with the objective of making Hansi city clean, beautiful and hygienic. In this connection, the teams of the Municipal Council conducted a special cleanliness drive in wards number 1, 5, 16, 19 and 24 on Wednesday and carried out cleaning work in various areas.
During the campaign conducted under the guidance of DMC and ADC Lakshit Sareen, sanitation workers removed garbage and waste from streets, public places, roadside areas and other identified locations. Special attention was given to places where additional cleaning was required despite regular sanitation work. The sanitation teams collected the waste and ensured its proper disposal.
DMC and ADC Lakshit Sareen said that keeping the city clean is not only the responsibility of the Municipal Council but also the collective responsibility of every citizen. A clean environment not only enhances the beauty of the city but also provides citizens with a better and healthier environment. He directed the officials and sanitation workers to maintain continuity in cleanliness work and pay special attention to identified locations.
He appealed to citizens not to throw waste generated from their homes and shops in the open and to dispose of it only at designated places. He also appealed to citizens not to litter public places and to cooperate with the Municipal Council teams in the cleanliness campaign.
