Chandigarh, May 12:- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh, a wave of development is going on in the state. A special action plan is being prepared for the all-round and comprehensive development of all the constituencies. A comprehensive and far-sighted roadmap is also being given practical form for the development of Narwana constituency.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister was presiding over a review meeting held here today with senior officers of various departments. He discussed in detail the strengthening of basic facilities in Narwana constituency and accelerating development works. In the meeting, instructions were given to prepare DPRs for sports stadiums, bridges, roads, veterinary hospitals, health centers, bus stands, parks and buildings etc. Apart from this, the works were also reviewed in detail regarding the announcements of the Chief Minister.
Mr. Krishna Bedi said that the aim of the state government is to connect every area of ??the state with the mainstream of development. The government is working with commitment for the welfare of the village, the poor, farmers, youth, women and every section. He asked the officials to take special care of quality and transparency in development works and to implement the schemes at the ground level quickly, so that the common people can get their direct benefits.
Mr. Bedi instructed the officials to prepare a detailed project report of modern sports stadiums to promote sports in the constituency, bridges and roads for better transportation system, health centers and veterinary hospitals to strengthen health services in rural and urban areas, bus stands, parks and various public buildings for the convenience of the general public, so that the development works can be started in a time-bound manner.
He said that the government is working seriously for the development of Narwana constituency and in the coming time many development projects will take shape in the area, which will change the image and destiny of the area. 16 roads will be repaired in the constituency at a cost of about Rs 48 crore, out of which work will start soon on 9 roads. Similarly, the work of upgrading the building of the 100-bed hospital will start soon to provide the benefit of better health services to the common citizens.
Mr. Bedi said that a magnificent park will be developed in Narwana at a cost of about Rs 4 crore so that people can get a better place to walk.
Similarly, a community health center in Ujhana, an animal dispensary in Farin Kalan, an animal hospital and a hockey stadium in Narwana will be constructed. Apart from this, a railway overbridge will be constructed on the Narwana-Tohana road and the old NH-65. The cost of these two bridges will be more than Rs 60 crore.
Apart from Anil Kumar Dahiya, Engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department, senior officials of the Health, Transport, Animal Husbandry, Sports and Local Government departments were present in the meeting.
