Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today organized a special public hearing at the Tehsil Office, Hoshiarpur to hear the complaints of the public related to the Revenue Department. Mayor Surinder Kumar, SDM Gursimranjit Kaur, Tehsildar Bhim Sen and Naib Tehsildar Hirdevir Singh were also present on this occasion.
During the public hearing, MLA Jimpa seriously listened to the problems of the citizens related to mutation, Jamabandi, mutation, Patwari level complaints and other revenue record. He said that early resolution of the complaints of the people is the priority of the government and this public hearing has been organized for this purpose.
Most of the cases were resolved on the spot in the presence of the concerned officers, due to which the people got immediate relief. MLA Jimpa said that it is both his duty and resolve that he listens to the problems of the public directly and ensures their resolution.
He appealed to all the citizens that if anyone has any pending complaint related to the Revenue Department, they should contact him or the concerned administrative officers without any hesitation, so that a transparent and fair solution can be found.
The MLA said that the government stands with the people and every possible step is being taken to provide justice to every citizen. He also said that keeping in mind the convenience of the public, such public hearing programs will be organized regularly in future also, so that the problems of the people can be resolved in a timely manner.
