Sangrur, 18 August:- MLA from Vidhan Sabha constituency Sangrur Narinder Kaur Bharaj like every year this time also shared happiness of her birthday with companions living at Pingalwara Sangrur. On this occasion she cut cake with companions living at Pingalwara and spent some moments of belongingness and affection with them.
On this occasion MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj contributing in efforts being made by Pingalwara for service of humanity gave assistance amount of 51,000 from her salary. Along with this needed ration material was also provided for companions of Pingalwara.
MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that for her real happiness of birthday is not remaining limited to her family and friends but sharing happiness with those people, who need love, affection and belongingness the most.
She said that celebrating birthday every year with companions living at Pingalwara is not just a ritual for her, but a small effort to discharge her responsibility towards humanity and sharing.
She said, "For me real happiness of birthday has always remained in sharing my happiness with these companions. Smile which comes on their faces gives peace to mind, which for me is much more valuable than any gift. When our happiness becomes reason to bring smile on face of a needy or destitute person then there cannot be any bigger happiness than that."
MLA Bharaj said that works being done for long time by Pingalwara institution for service of destitute, needy and people living on margins of society are a big example for humanity. She said that such institutions and service works should be cooperated by every section of society as per their capacity.
She also appealed to people that tradition of celebrating their family functions, birthdays and other happy occasions by sharing with needy be made more strong. She said that real progress of society happens when we consider sorrows and happiness of others also as our own along with our happiness.
She in end prayed that Waheguru always keep giving strength to serve humanity, help needy and support in sorrows and happiness of people. She said that in coming time also she will keep contributing as per her capacity for welfare of needy sections of society.
