Chandigarh, September 05:- A state-level review meeting was chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh on Saturday to discuss the effective execution and successful organization of the 'Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan'. The campaign is being held from September 17 to October 17 to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life and dedicated service. Preparations, event execution, and timely implementation of various programs were reviewed in detail with senior officials during the meeting.
Cabinet Ministers Krishan Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goel, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Gangwa, Krishan Kumar Bedi, and Aarti Rao, along with Minister of State Gaurav Gautam, attended the meeting in person, while Minister of State Rajesh Nagar joined via video conferencing.
Commissioner and Secretary of Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department K.M. Pandurang and Director Dr. Aditya Dahiya presented detailed plans regarding proposed programs, preparations, and execution for the campaign across the state. They updated the Chief Minister on district-wise preparations, inter-departmental coordination, and strategies to ensure widespread public outreach.
‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ to Light Up Every Booth, Connecting Beneficiaries
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini directed officials to organize special events across all 23 districts at key development project sites inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi or initiated by the Haryana government. On the evening of September 17, workers and volunteers will visit households at every booth to light an ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’.
Beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes launched by PM Modi will be actively involved, and lighting lamps at their homes will showcase their real-world experiences. District administrations will arrange video recordings of these events and share photos and videos widely across social media platforms.
The Chief Minister instructed that seminars be held at universities to highlight the developmental and social welfare achievements under PM Modi's leadership over the past 12 years. Documentaries on this development journey will be screened in public places, with special emphasis on the transformations experienced by women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
District-Wise Beneficiary Lists to Ensure No One Is Left Out
The Chief Minister directed that complete lists of central scheme beneficiaries be compiled for each district to ensure every eligible person is included during the campaign. Ministers, MLAs, party workers, and the general public will be integrated into this awareness drive.
Locations like Gram Sachivalayas, Vyayamshalas, major agricultural development sites, highways, expressways, and flagship infrastructure projects will be identified to highlight public welfare achievements effectively.
He also called for encouraging children participating in painting, speech, and art competitions, ensuring maximum participation from both public and private schools, with exceptional performers being recognized.
Month-Long ‘Sewa Sankalp Campaign’ Begins September 17
The meeting highlighted that the nation-wide ‘Sewa Sankalp Campaign’ will run from September 17 to October 17. The initiative aims to bring PM Modi's 25-year legacy of governance and nation-building to every doorstep while aligning citizens with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
The campaign kicks off on the evening of September 17 with the ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ program, symbolizing public faith, gratitude, and a shared commitment to the nation's bright future.
Youth Talent Showcasing the Vision of Viksit Bharat
School-level painting and elocution competitions will take place from September 17 to October 7, allowing students to express their vision for a developed India by 2047. Winning artworks will be displayed in exhibitions, and top performers will receive certificates signed by the Chief Minister.
Additionally, a 25-to-30-minute musical street play titled ‘Namo Sewa Gatha’ will illustrate the socio-economic transformations of the past 25 years. The play will tour various villages, culminating in 100 special performances across major national locations on October 2.
Special Celebrations at Anganwadi Centers and Stories of Transformation
A three-day special event will be held at Anganwadi centers between September 25 and October 7 to honor Anganwadi and ASHA workers while educating mothers on health and nutrition.
Under the theme ‘Kahani Badlaav Ki’, short videos and reels featuring inspiring testimonials from beneficiaries of schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Mission Indradhanush will showcase tangible progress.
Delivering Welfare via ‘Sewa Setu’ Camps, Expansion of ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’
Block-level ‘Sewa Setu’ camps will be established to provide administrative services and scheme benefits directly to eligible citizens. The Chief Minister ordered the inclusion of the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ in these camps to ensure widespread awareness and enrollment.
Under the expanded ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’, the annual family income eligibility limit will be raised to Rs 1.80 lakh, expanding the target reach to approximately 17 lakh new beneficiaries across the state. Benefit disbursements for eligible individuals will commence on November 1.
‘Sewa Mera Yogdan’ across 180 Locations in 90 Assembly Constituencies
Community service events will take place across 180 locations in all 90 assembly constituencies under the ‘Sewa Mera Yogdan’ initiative. The Chief Minister asked MLAs and active community leaders to lead these efforts.
Citizens will be invited to contribute at least 25 minutes to social service activities, including blood donation drives, tree planting, public area cleanups, and assisting vulnerable populations.
Global Reach: Sunrise Yagyas Across 25 Countries
The campaign will engage the Haryanvi diaspora across 25 countries worldwide. Yagyas will be conducted at sunrise in these countries, with local communities joining in.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will extend a special invitation to the Haryanvi diaspora to take part, taking Haryana’s contribution to service, culture, and a developed India to a global scale.
National Innovation Challenge Platforming Haryana Innovators
A 'National Innovation Challenge' will feature five main hubs: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata. Haryana will participate through the Delhi center, where young innovators and startups will display their technology solutions and products.
This platform aims to highlight the creative potential of Haryana's youth and align their technical capabilities with the national growth narrative.
‘Sewa Jyoti’ Torch Rallies for a Developed India
‘Sewa Jyoti’ or Torch Rallies will traverse every district and village, bringing together youth and citizens to take a collective pledge for a developed nation. Over 60 public dialogue sessions will be held along these routes.
The rallies will conclude with an address by PM Narendra Modi reaching 750 key districts across the nation. The events will reflect on local developmental milestones and reinforce the collective commitment toward building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Cultural diversity and environmental conservation will also be emphasized through ‘Human Rangoli’ events depicting India's varied traditions and large ‘Bharat Mandals’ crafted from natural materials.
‘Jansevak Mahakumbh’ on October 17
The month-long campaign will culminate on October 17 with the ‘Jansevak Mahakumbh’, uniting nearly 1.25 lakh public representatives from village panchayats to Parliament.
Haryana will participate on a massive scale, with representatives from every village panchayat joining to reaffirm their dedication to rural and national progress toward Viksit Bharat@2047.
Principal Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, and other senior officials were present at the meeting. Deputy Commissioners and administrative officers from all districts joined via video conferencing to share their local preparation plans.
