Santoshgarh/Una, April 16 (Naveen Mahe):— During a state-level program held in Santoshgarh on Tuesday—marking the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti—the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Corporation (District Una) provided detailed information regarding the department's various public welfare schemes.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, District Manager Neelam Kumari, Accountant Savita Thakur, and Field Assistant Balwinder Kumar Minta elaborated on the features and benefits of the schemes administered by the Corporation. These schemes include the low-interest loan scheme, self-employment incentive scheme, education loan scheme, and small-scale industry loan scheme.
They informed the audience that, under these schemes, eligible beneficiaries are provided with loans at low interest rates, flexible repayment options through easy installments, and financial assistance to establish self-employment ventures, thereby enabling them to become economically empowered.
The officials urged the public to avail themselves of these schemes to the fullest extent in order to improve their standard of living. The event witnessed a large turnout of local residents, who demonstrated keen interest in the schemes.
