Hansi:– Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Hansi, Vinod Kumar, the district Hansi police are continuously organizing public awareness programs under the "Drug-Free Hansi" campaign. The objective of the campaign is to make the youth aware of the ill effects of drugs and motivate them towards education, sports, and a positive lifestyle.
Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar said that the youth are the future of the country. If the youth stay away from drugs and adopt education, sports, and good values, they bring glory not only to their families but also to the society and the nation. Intoxication (drugs) is not the solution to any problem, but a path to ruining one's life.
He stated that awareness campaigns are being continuously conducted in schools, colleges, ITIs, educational institutions, villages, and cities by the drug de-addiction team of the district Hansi police. Through these programs, students and ordinary citizens are being provided with detailed information about the ill effects of narcotics, drug smuggling through cyber means, legal provisions, and measures to quit drugs.
The Superintendent of Police also appealed to parents to maintain regular communication with their children, pay attention to their daily routine and circle of friends, and encourage them to connect with sports, education, yoga, cultural activities, and social work. Only a healthy and positive environment can keep the youth away from evils like drugs.
He called upon the general public that if they get any information about the buying and selling of drugs, smuggling, or illegal activities anywhere, they should immediately inform the district Hansi police or dial 112. The identity of the informer will be kept completely confidential, and strict legal action will be taken against drug smugglers.
Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar said that "Drug-Free Hansi" is not just a police campaign, but the resolve of the entire society. Only when the family, school, society, and police work together, will we be able to save our younger generation from drugs and give them a safe, healthy, and prosperous future.
