Hoshiarpur: Under the 'Chief Minister Mavan-Dhian Satikar Yojana' (CM Mothers-Daughters Respect Scheme), launched by the Punjab Government for the empowerment and economic security of women, the registration process has commenced today in the Mahilpur, Bhunga, Tanda, Dasuya, Mukerian, and Hajipur blocks of Hoshiarpur district.
Providing this information, District Program Officer Gagandeep Singh stated that camps have been organized at various locations for the registration of women. To avail the benefits of the scheme, women have been advised to bring their required documents, such as an Aadhaar card, caste certificate, bank account details, and other necessary paperwork.
He stated that under this scheme, direct financial assistance is being provided to women and girls aged 18 years and above. Under this initiative, eligible women from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category will receive ?1,500 per month, and women from the general category will receive ?1,000 per month, which will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. 
He appealed to all women to visit the designated camps to complete their registration and maximize the benefits of this public welfare scheme of the Punjab Government. He further mentioned that duties have been assigned to officials and employees of the concerned departments to ensure the smooth execution of the registration process.
