Ratiya, July 15:- The Ratiya Mobile Association has set a commendable example of honesty and social responsibility by returning a lost Apple iPhone, worth approximately one lakh rupees, to its rightful owner. This act by the association is being appreciated throughout the region.
According to the information, Lambardar Happy Singh of village Tamaspura lost his iPhone a few days ago while boarding a jeep near Bhagat Singh Chowk. An individual found the mobile and contacted Suresh Kumar, the proprietor of Suresh Watch Company and Mobile Center, with the intention of selling it.
Upon becoming suspicious, Suresh Kumar immediately informed Association President Raman Balana. Subsequently, members of the association began searching for the owner of the phone through WhatsApp groups and social media. After 4-5 days of investigation, it was discovered that the phone belonged to Happy Singh.
On Wednesday, President Raman Balana, Suresh Kumar, Goldy Mehta, Varun Chillana, Sahil Jasuja, Vicky Kakkar, and other members called Happy Singh and handed over his iPhone to him.
Upon receiving his mobile back, Happy Singh expressed his gratitude to the association and Suresh Kumar. He remarked that such honesty is rare in today's time.
President Raman Balana stated that the association is not limited to just trade; it also fulfills its responsibilities toward society. The association will continue to carry out public welfare activities in the future as well.
