Ratia, December 14: On Saturday evening, under the direction of District Police Superintendent Siddhant Jain, the newly appointed City Station House Officer, Inspector Pushpa Sihag, assumed her charge. Immediately after taking charge, the female police officer held an important meeting with all the beat officers. During this meeting, she ordered them to keep a close watch on drug-related and criminal activities and to put those involved behind bars.
She clearly stated that drug supply would not be tolerated in her area at any cost, and anyone found involved in such activities would face immediate action. She instructed all beat officers to expedite the resolution of all pending cases and to listen to the grievances of all complainants who approach them, ensuring fair and transparent justice.
The newly appointed Station House Officer said that all beat officers would conduct regular inspections in their respective areas and take immediate action to prevent any criminal incidents. She also expressed concern over the recent death of a young man due to drug use and assured that no accused person in this case would be spared.
She also appealed to the general public, emphasizing that it is everyone's responsibility to pay special attention to their children so that they do not go astray. During the meeting, considering the potential increase in thefts due to the winter and fog, she ordered night patrols in their respective areas.
She said that an important meeting of all the city councilors would be convened, and arrangements would be made for watchmen in the wards, along with keeping a close watch on suspicious individuals. Acting Station House Officer Kanwar Pal Singh, Harpal Singh, Amar Singh, Munshi Vijay Singh, Naresh Kumar, Jassa Singh, and other beat officers were also present on this occasion.
