Chandigarh:- Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has expressed grief over the incident of suicide by a student of Amritsar. Along with this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that no school in Punjab will be able to increase fees by more than five percent in a year. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has revealed this while talking to reporters in Chandigarh.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the Punjab government will prepare such a law. In which the fees of the students will also be refunded from the school administrators who have charged more than 15 percent in the last three years. Along with this, he said that strict action will be taken against the school administrators who have increased the fees by more than 5 percent in a year in the state.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that a case will also be registered against the school administrators who forced the student of Amritsar to commit suicide and appropriate legal action will be taken.
