Nawanshahr, August 1:- Punjab Sahitya Sabha (Regd.) Nawanshahr will organize annual Sawan Kavi Darbar on August 4 (Tuesday) at 1 pm at the office of Manmohan Singh Gulati located near Railway Road, Old Dana Mandi.
During the meeting of the society held in this regard, President Darshan Dardi and General Secretary Des Raj Bali informed that the chief guest of the event will be District Program Officer Jagroop Singh. They said that on this occasion, renowned writer Dr. Malkit Kaur Jandi will be specially honored in recognition of her literary achievements.
They extended an open invitation to all writers, poets and literature lovers to join this Kavi Darbar and asked them to attend in maximum numbers to enhance the splendor of the event.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Sabha, Manmohan Singh Gulati, President Darshan Dardi, General Secretary Des Raj Bali, Vasdev Pardesi, Shamha Malhan, Veena Sharma, Harbans Pardesi, Dr. Malkit Kaur Jandi, Advocate Bahadur Chand Arora, Jaspreet Singh Bajwa, Priya and other members.
