Chandigarh, March 1:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, while addressing a program organized by Saini Samaj in Dinanagar of Gurdaspur district of Punjab on Sunday, said that Punjab is the land of Gurus, it is the land of penance, renunciation and sacrifice. He said that despite suffering the pain of partition, the people here never let despair weigh them down and made self-confidence their biggest strength.
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the upcoming elections of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha are not just elections to change the government, these elections are an opportunity to change the political direction of Punjab and bring respect to the society.
He said that he is feeling proud to come to this holy land. While bowing to the crowd present, he appealed to everyone to come together and make Punjab a leading state on the path of development again. He said, "We all have to come together and make Punjab a colorful Punjab again."
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the work of giving respect to the Saini community. He has given strength to the community by making a small worker like me the Chief Minister. He said that he will present his second budget in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Monday. He said that out of 217 resolutions, 60 have been completed and work is going on rapidly on 120.
Mentioning the schemes of the state government, the Chief Minister said that free dialysis facility is being provided to kidney patients in all hospitals and medical colleges in Haryana. Pension is being provided to the elderly by the 10th of every month while sitting at home. He said that Rs. 2100 is being given to women under the 'Lado Lakshmi' scheme. Farmers' crops are being purchased at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and payment has been ensured within 48 hours. Farmers are also getting the benefit of the Bhavantar Bharpay Yojana.
The Chief Minister said that houses are being built for the poor and plots are being provided to families who do not have land. Ownership rights have also been provided to families living on panchayat land for a long time.

**Development affected due to power in Punjab remaining in a few hands
The Chief Minister said that development has been affected due to the power in Punjab being concentrated in a few hands. Now is the time to change the direction of politics. He expressed confidence that in the upcoming assembly elections, the OBC class will come together and play a decisive role and contribute to the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government so that Punjab can be made a colorful and prosperous state again.
He said that 31 percent OBCs in Punjab The class is, together they should become the axis of politics and play a political role. Mr. Saini said that today the situation in Punjab is very bad. Now is the time to get Punjab, which is struggling with unemployment, drugs, crime and migration, out of these problems. The Saini community will have to play a big role in this task.
Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Chief Minister said that before the Bihar elections, Rahul Gandhi leveled allegations of vote theft in Haryana, but the public has completely rejected these allegations.
Mentioning the contribution of the Saini community, the Chief Minister said that the community has played an important role in the freedom movement. He recalled the contribution of Sardar Mehna Singh and Mr. Hari Singh Saini, describing them as the diamonds of the community.
He said that the Saini community has been at the forefront in the work of serving humanity. During the floods in Punjab, the people of the community helped in large numbers. Referring to Nek Chand Saini, the creator of Chandigarh's famous Rock Garden, the Chief Minister said that he has left an indelible mark of art and culture in the society.
During the program, the Chief Minister was also honored by presenting a shawl and a memento. During this, the Chief Minister honored the families of the martyrs and school children. On this occasion, Punjab BJP working president and MLA Ashwani Sharma, Akhil Bharatiya Saini Sabha president Dilbagh Singh Saini and administrators Jagdish Saini, Raghuveer Singh Saini, Lovely Saini, Praveen Kumar Saini, Harveer Singh, Darbar Singh and a large number of dignitaries were present.
