Chandigarh, December 17 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, while describing public service as the basic spirit of governance, directed the officials that every citizen who comes to the offices with a complaint should return with respect and satisfaction. Prompt, transparent and sensitive resolution of public problems is not only an administrative responsibility but also a moral responsibility which should be carried out with utmost priority.
The Chief Minister was presiding over a meeting of the District Liaison and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram on Wednesday. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA Mrs. Bimala Chaudhary, Sohna MLA Mr. Tejpal Tanwar and Gurugram MLA Mr. Mukesh Sharma were also present in the meeting. A total of 16 cases were taken up in the meeting, out of which the Chief Minister disposed of 12 on the spot while 4 cases were directed to be kept pending till the next meeting.
**Common people getting immediate relief from Samadhan Shivars - Chief Minister
The Chief Minister said that with the aim of immediate resolution of problems related to common people, Samadhan Shivars are being organized regularly on every Monday and Thursday at the district and sub-divisional levels. He said that a total of 40 thousand complaints have been received in these Samadhan Shivars so far, out of which 30 thousand complaints have been successfully resolved.
The Chief Minister said that out of 1 lakh 42 thousand complaints received directly by him, 1 lakh 35 thousand complaints have been resolved. He said that immediate action is being ensured on complaints on the CM Window portal as well. Currently, only those complaints are pending here which are related to the court or which include family matters which need to be resolved through legal process.
**Directions for investigation against Jatauli Mandi Pax Manager
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini took note of a complaint received from Chillarki in Pataudi area and said that due to the working style of the manager, farmers face a lot of trouble in getting fertilizer and his behavior with the farmers is also not satisfactory. The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to conduct an impartial investigation into the entire matter and submit the report to the District Commissioner soon.
**Repair work of Dhanwapur Underpass to be completed in 15 days
During the meeting, the issue of difficulties faced by the passengers due to water leakage and waterlogging in Dhanwapur Railway Underpass was placed before the Chief Minister. On this, the Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to complete the repair work of the underpass within the next 15 days and ensure smooth and safe movement for the common people. The Chief Minister also directed the authorities to ensure that such a problem does not arise again in the future so that the common citizens do not have to face any kind of inconvenience.
**Directions to repair sewer, sanitation and electricity system in the city
The Chief Minister directed the Municipal Corporation authorities to ensure that the sewer covers do not break anywhere in the city and neither does the sewer overflow at any place. He said that if regular monitoring of the sewer system is ensured, the common people do not have to face any kind of inconvenience or accident.
The Chief Minister also directed the Municipal Corporation authorities to take necessary and effective steps to further improve the level of sanitation in the city. He said that special attention should be paid to regular cleaning, waste management and maintaining a clean environment. Along with this, the Chief Minister also directed the Electricity Department to ensure that there are no electricity poles on the road anywhere, due to which the common man does not face any kind of problem in transportation.
**Directions for surveying illegal encroachments on the green belt in village Gwalapahari
The Chief Minister took serious note of the cases of illegal encroachments on the green belt land left under the master plan in village Gwalapahari. He directed the officials of the Public Works Department and the Municipal Corporation to jointly survey the spot and clarify the situation so that necessary action can be taken on the basis of the existing facts. He said that if illegal encroachments are found after the survey, strict action should be taken as per the rules.
