Chandigarh, August 24:- Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal has said that all public representatives and officers are public servants and it should be a constant effort of all of us that every problem of the citizens should be resolved within a specified time frame.
Mr. Vipul Goyal was presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Public Grievances Committee in Narnaul district today. 10 pre-determined complaints were heard seriously in the meeting. The Revenue and Disaster Management Minister clarified that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh is fully committed to work with complete transparency, impartiality and accountability.
Taking note of the problem of water filling during the meeting, the Minister directed the Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department to go to the spot and check the technical feasibility, so that the concerned department can take this work forward in an orderly and effective manner. Necessary instructions were issued for the repair of parks in Narnaul and the prevention of stray animals. Regarding the dirty water in Pipla Wali Bani of Kanina, the officials informed the committee that a pond will be constructed in an area of ??7 acres in the village, for which tenders have been issued and this will provide a permanent solution to the problem.
During the hearing of another complaint, in the case of irregularities in the construction of sheds and boards in several villages, the Revenue Minister directed to send the matter to the Vigilance Department for investigation.
In the case of the suspicious death of a youth on the dam of Banihari village, Deputy Commissioner of Police Bharat Bhushan said that the viscera have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Madhuban for examination, where strict legal action will be taken as per the rules after receiving the report and the final opinion of the doctors.
