Chandigarh, February 5:- Precious animals of good breed will do catwalk on the ramp of the State Level Animal Fair being organized in Kurukshetra, Haryana from February 6 to 8 tomorrow. Prize money will also be given to the cattle breeders who win the good breed award in the competition in this fair. Not only this, farmers who register daily in the State Level Animal Fair to be held from February 6 to 8 will also be given attractive prizes like bullet motorcycles. The names of the winners will be drawn daily in the evening for this award.
An official spokesperson said that Haryana Animal Husbandry and Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana will inaugurate the 41st State Level Livestock Exhibition on February 6. Similarly, on February 7, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh will arrive as the chief guest. While in the closing ceremony, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini will be the chief guest and Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana will lead the program.
He said that two exhibitions will also be organized in this fair. More than 100 government and private organizations will reach these exhibitions. New technology of animal husbandry will be seen in these exhibitions. Apart from this, cultural programs will also be organized for daily entertainment for the farmers and the government has also made arrangements for free drinking water.
He said that about 1 lakh farmers from 23 districts will participate in the state-level animal husbandry fair to be organized by the animal husbandry department. Buses have been arranged to bring and take farmers from all these districts. Apart from this, all the necessary arrangements have been made by the animal husbandry department at the program venue. He said that 1500 animals will arrive in the state-level cattle fair and all will be of good breed. 53 categories have been decided for these animals and competitions will be organized in all the categories.
