Ratia, Talwandi Sabo, December 6:- Vishwa Punjabi Sabha Canada, an organization dedicated to the promotion of Punjabi literature at the international level, organized a Kavi Darbar at Guru Kashi University. Sabha Chairman Dr. Dalbir Singh Kathuria attended it as the chief guest. While the chairperson of the Gurmat Department, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, presided over it. On this occasion, renowned Punjabi poets had a great time presenting their poetry.
On this occasion, the poetry collection 'Sukhan Ladde Sunehe' by famous Punjabi poet Darshan Singh Bhamme was released. Renowned Punjabi poet Revati Sharma, Dean of Guru Kashi University Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, President of the Sabha's India unit Professor Balveer Kaur Raikoti, Sahitya Akademi Award-winning Central Punjabi Writers' Association President Darshan Booter, Haryana President Dr. Naib Singh Mander, poet Rebati Sharma, poet Gurpreet Ghaniya, Professor Pawan Khichi, and other literary figures shared their thoughts on the book by renowned poet Darshan Singh Bhamme.
On this occasion, poet Revati Sharma expressed her views on the book, stating that it is a collection of verses and poems related to healthcare by her disciple Darshan Singh Bhamme. She added that poems related to healthcare can be rich in interest. Dr. Dalveer Singh Kathuria, President of the World Punjabi Sabha, in his address, said that the events organized by Guru Kashi University from time to time to promote Punjabi literature are commendable.
He stated that every person should donate one-tenth of their income to public service, which is a significant message from our Gurus. On this occasion, poet Darshan Singh Bhamme said that he has served in the Health Department of Punjab for many years and he knows that it is very important to save the young generation from the quagmire of drugs. It is very important to keep people aware so that our society remains healthy.
On this occasion, Punjabi Sahitya Academy Award winning poet Darshan Singh Butter and Dr. Naib Singh Mander, in their address, congratulated on the public launch of the book dedicated to public awareness. On this occasion, office bearers of the Sabha, Sahiba Jitan Kaur, Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur and a large number of litterateurs were present.
