Karnal, June 8: A successful plant distribution and tree plantation program was organized by the Bharat Vikas Parishad, Krishna Branch, at Atal Park. The objective of the program was to increase public awareness regarding environmental conservation and to realize the resolve for a green and clean India.
Shri Mukesh Arora graced the event as the chief guest. Over 50 members of the branch participated enthusiastically and collectively planted 50 saplings.
On this occasion, Branch President Smt. Sonia Mehta and the entire team honored Shri Mukesh Arora with a shawl (Angavastra) and a planter for his special contribution to the fields of social service and environmental conservation.
The project head, Shri Mukesh Dhingra, and co-project head, Shri Sandeep Malhotra, welcomed all the members and guests present, calling for environmental conservation to be turned into a mass movement.
Branch Secretary Smt. Suman Arora stated, "One plant – one resolve, the alternative for a green and clean India," is not just a slogan but a responsibility for the secure future of coming generations. She urged all citizens to take a pledge to plant more trees and ensure their care.
The program concluded with a collective resolve for environmental conservation and a vote of thanks to all participants. Refreshments were also arranged for all branch members at the end. The branch members resolved that they would continue to work on such projects together, ensuring the environment is always protected.
