New Delhi:- Nitin Naveen has filed his nomination for the post of national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had become proposers in the election of the national president. The new national president of the BJP will be announced tomorrow, Tuesday.
Earlier, Chief Ministers of all BJP-ruled states, along with senior leaders and many others, were present at the party office.
It is worth noting that BJP's national working president Nitin Naveen is likely to be elected unopposed as the party's 12th national president. The party leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, supports his candidature for the post.

According to the election schedule provided by Laxman, nominations for the post will be filed between 2 pm and 4 pm on Monday, and the name of the new party chief will be announced the day after the election process is completed. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on January 19 between 4 pm and 5 pm. Nominations can be withdrawn between 5 pm and 6 pm today.
A BJP source told PTI, "Almost all our chief ministers will be present on the occasion. Apart from this, all state unit presidents of the BJP and other senior party leaders will also be present." Nabin, a five-time MLA from Bihar and recently appointed as the national working president of the BJP, will file his nomination for the post of national president on Monday.
