Haroli/Una, June 12 (Rajveer Chopra): A special 'Nikshay' camp was organized at Gram Panchayat Bat Khurd under the joint aegis of the MP Mobile Health Service and Swasth Khand Haroli, operating under the guidance of former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur and with the support of the Prayas Society. A large number of people participated in the camp and availed themselves of free health services.
During the camp, health check-ups were conducted for 103 individuals, and 95 laboratory tests and X-ray services were provided free of cost. Additionally, patients received necessary medical consultations, free medicines, and health-related guidance.
A Health Department team at the camp provided detailed information to the public regarding TB symptoms, timely testing, regular treatment, government health facilities, and preventive measures against the disease. People were also urged to remain vigilant about TB and to undergo immediate medical check-ups if any suspicious symptoms appeared.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, CHO Manpreet, STS Satish Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Nihal Singh, Manish, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers provided their services on this occasion. Everyone played a significant role in making the 'TB-Mukt Bharat' (TB-Free India) campaign a success and raising health awareness among the public.
Local residents appreciated the health facilities being brought to their villages by the MP Mobile Health Service and Swasth Khand Haroli, noting that this initiative ensures timely access to healthcare for the general public—especially the elderly, women, and the needy. They described such camps as highly beneficial and praiseworthy in the public interest.
At the conclusion of the camp, the health team appealed to the public to actively participate in realizing the resolve that "TB will lose, the country will win" and in making the 'TB-Mukt Bharat' campaign a success.
