Chandigarh, March 20:- Haryana Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajesh Nagar made a surprise inspection of the Gharonda Grain Market and interacted with the Mandi Aarthi and farmers. He directed the officials to complete the procurement arrangements for the upcoming wheat season in a timely manner and to get clean drinking water, toilets, electricity, canteens, sheds and roads repaired for the farmers in the mandis. There should be no negligence in the procurement of mustard and farmers should not face any difficulties.
He said while talking to the media that a tender has been floated to make available a sufficient number of vehicles to lift wheat from the mandis, the arrangement of trucks will be ensured soon. He said that a sufficient number of gunny bags are being arranged and necessary instructions have also been issued by the government to all the procurement agencies that they will complete all the preparations related to the departments soon.
