Patna- The atmosphere is full of excitement regarding the Bihar elections. Various party leaders are claiming victory. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has also said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) getting a two-thirds majority in the Bihar assembly elections will be a true tribute to the country's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary.
Addressing an election rally in Baar in Patna district, Singh said that Bihar does not need 'Gunda Raj'. He claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been largely successful in repairing the damage caused by 'Jungle Raj'. He said that a two-thirds majority for the NDA would be a true tribute to Nehru. He alleged that the opposition party wants to win the votes of 'Bangladeshi infiltrators'.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of 'doing anything for votes, even dancing' and accusing the BJP of running the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar 'by remote control'.
Gandhi said, "You must have seen the drama on TV that Modi was going to take a dip in the Yamuna for Chhath Puja. When it was revealed that a pond had been formed with clean, piped water, it was postponed because the river is very dirty."
He claimed, "Narendra Modi is ready to do all kinds of drama. If you try to tell Modi ji in an election rally that, Mr. Prime Minister, if you dance, we will vote for you. He will easily perform Bharat Natyam."
It is worth mentioning that the counting of votes for the Bihar assembly elections will be held on November 14, which is also the birth anniversary of Pandit Nehru.
