Ratia, June 12:- To ensure the successful organization of the 12th International Yoga Day, Naib Tehsildar Balwan Singh Ahilawat held a meeting with officials from relevant departments to review preparations and issued necessary directives. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the successful execution of Yoga Day programs, widespread public participation, and ensuring all necessary arrangements are completed on time.
Naib Tehsildar Ahilawat stated that Yoga is an invaluable heritage of Indian culture, which the entire world is now adopting. Yoga not only improves physical health but also plays a significant role in establishing mental and spiritual balance. He mentioned that the objective of International Yoga Day is to make people aware of Yoga and inspire them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Nodal Officer and AMO Dr. Shiksha Kumari informed that on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21, a mass Yoga program will be organized at the Grain Market at the sub-division level from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Officials and employees from various departments, students, representatives of social organizations, and the general public will participate in this event.
Naib Tehsildar Balwan Singh instructed the concerned departments to ensure essential facilities at the venues, such as drinking water, seating arrangements, cleanliness, medical assistance, and other necessary arrangements well in advance.
He emphasized that all departments should work with mutual coordination and cooperation to make the Yoga Day program a success. He also instructed the officials to engage as many people as possible and to carry out extensive publicity to raise awareness about Yoga. He added that the greater the public participation, the more meaningful the purpose of Yoga Day will be.
He appealed to all officials to contribute to making Yoga Day a successful 'Jan Andolan' (people's movement) so that more people can make Yoga a part of their daily lives and move towards a healthy and disease-free life. During the meeting, the AYUSH Department Nodal Officer provided information regarding the preparations related to the event protocol.
