Una, July 26: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri listened to the grievances of the public on Sunday at the Business Promotion Centre located in Gondpur Bulla, within the Haroli Assembly constituency. A large number of people from various villages in the area met him to discuss matters concerning both personal issues and the public interest. The Deputy Chief Minister listened attentively to everyone's concerns and directed the concerned officials to ensure the time-bound resolution of eligible cases on a priority basis.
Speaking on the occasion, Mukesh Agnihotri stated that work is proceeding rapidly and systematically towards the goal of making Haroli an Assembly constituency fully equipped with 100% drinking water and irrigation facilities by December 2027. He noted that the 'Beet' area, which once grappled with a drinking water crisis, has now become a successful example of water management, and the expansion of irrigation projects has brought about positive changes in the agricultural sector. In the near future, the goal of delivering water to every household and every farm will be achieved by further accelerating projects related to drinking water and irrigation.
He emphasized that development transcends party politics and that the government strives to ensure the equitable distribution of the benefits of schemes to every village and every individual in the region. He assured that every matter concerning the public interest would be resolved in a timely manner and with utmost sensitivity, and that the campaign for development and public service would continue unabated.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the resolve to create a fully developed Haroli is not merely about expanding infrastructure but about extending the benefits of development to every family and making people's lives more convenient. He highlighted that significant work is continuously being undertaken in sectors such as education, health, roads, transport, water resources (Jal Shakti), industrial development, and modern infrastructure. Now, in the next phase of development, special emphasis is being placed on enhancing the quality of amenities and making public service delivery even more effective.
