Chandigarh, March 20:- A meeting of the Special High Powered Purchase Committee (SHPPC) was held under the chairmanship of Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao. In this meeting, several important proposals were approved with the aim of strengthening health facilities in civil hospitals of the state.
During the meeting, approval was given to hire CT scan services in Civil Hospitals Mandikhera (Nuh) and Rewari. Along with this, it was decided to start MRI scan services on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis in Civil Hospitals of Mandikhera (Nuh), Rewari, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak and Charkhi Dadri.
Apart from this, approval was also given to start mechanized and automated cleaning services in the district civil hospitals of Kurukshetra, Gurugram and Jind, which will improve cleanliness in the hospitals and provide a better environment to the patients.
Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said in the meeting that the state government is committed to providing quality and affordable health services to all citizens. She directed the concerned departments to implement the approved projects in a time-bound manner and ensure transparency and efficiency in implementation.
These initiatives are being considered as an important step towards modernizing the public health system of Haryana, which will provide better health services to the people of the state.
