Haroli/Una, July 24 (Rajveer Chopra): A free health camp was organized by the 'MP Mobile Health Service' (Haroli)—run under the guidance of former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur and with the support of the Prayas Society—in Janani village of Gram Panchayat Polian Beet.
At the camp, 70 patients underwent health check-ups, and 23 free laboratory tests were conducted. Patients received free medical consultations, medicines, and essential health-related information. Additionally, a yoga session was organized to raise awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle and preventing diseases during the monsoon season.
During the camp, the MP Mobile Health Service team visited the homes of 80-year-old Dhan Kaur and 85-year-old Sheeno Devi—both of whom are bedridden—to conduct their health check-ups. Both elderly patients were provided with medical consultations, necessary medicines, and essential health advice.
ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers played a significant role in the successful organization of the camp.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, and health workers Manisha and Vikrant Singh provided their services at the camp. Appreciating this initiative by the MP Mobile Health Service, villagers remarked that the service sets an excellent example of humanitarian work by delivering free, quality healthcare facilities to remote areas and to bedridden patients.
