Garhshankar: Following the spectacular victory of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Garhshankar Municipal Council elections, the Panchayat of village Moranwali, party workers, and local residents extended special congratulations to the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly, S. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri. A celebratory event was organized at the Deputy Speaker's office, where the victory was commemorated by cutting a cake and distributing sweets among the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Panchayat members and party leaders credited this win to S. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri’s visionary leadership, continuous public engagement, and development-oriented mindset. They stated that the people of Garhshankar have supported the politics of development, transparency, and public welfare by casting their mandate in favor of the Aam Aadmi Party.
The Panchayat representatives highlighted that under S. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri’s guidance, development works in the Garhshankar constituency have gained new momentum. Significant improvements in road infrastructure, education, health, and basic amenities have strengthened public trust, which was clearly reflected in the election results.
They asserted that this victory in the Municipal Council will further accelerate the city's growth and ensure that residents' issues are resolved on a priority basis. The Panchayat members expressed confidence that this journey of development and public service will continue unabated under the Deputy Speaker's leadership.
