Hoshiarpur: Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab General Secretary Contractor Bhagwan Das Sidhu and Advocate Palwinder Mana, in-charge BSP Halka Chabbewal, strongly criticized the indiscriminate lathicharge and brutal behavior of Delhi Police at the behest of the government against lakhs of students protesting in Delhi due to the poor performance of the education system due to repeated leaks of NEET papers, saying that the Modi government at the center is playing with the future of students and is keeping silent on the NEET paper leak issue and the extremely poor performance of the education system.
They said that even after the paper leaks were repeated, the Prime Minister did not take any action, contrary to the students' demand and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, only the students who were peacefully protesting are being tortured and an attempt is being made to silence the voice of truth, which is very shameful and condemnable. Contractor Bhagwan and Advocate Mana said that those responsible for the poor performance in the education system should be removed immediately and strict steps should be taken to improve the education system.
Contractor Bhagwan and Advocate Mana expressed deep concern over the rising unemployment and inflation and said that the government is misleading the people of Punjab by presenting false employment figures, while lakhs of youth are looking for jobs with degrees in their hands and are looking disappointed. BSP leaders said that the Punjab government has failed on every issue, the result of which the AAP party will have to face in the 2027 elections.
