Hansi: An important step was taken on Friday to modernize Hansi city's famous Devi Lal Market. MLA Vinod Bhayana formally inaugurated the construction of various development projects worth ?49 lakh. After completion, Devi Lal Market will not only appear more beautiful and attractive, but citizens and traders will also experience a modern market equipped with amenities.
MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that Devi Lal Market is a major commercial hub of the city, with hundreds of people visiting daily. Therefore, beautification of the market, providing better parking facilities, adequate lighting, footpaths, and a clean environment are the need of the hour. The MLA stated that all these works will be carried out expeditiously and will be completed within the stipulated time period of six months.
Municipal Council officials stated that the major works included in the market include the construction of entrance gates, adequate parking space for vehicles, a green belt within the market, attractive decorative lights, decorative electric poles, and the construction of strong and well-equipped footpaths and railings for pedestrian convenience. Completion of all these works will make the market environment more organized, safe, and beautiful.
Furthermore, officials clarified that if suitable land becomes available in the market, a beautiful fountain will be installed, further enhancing the beauty of the market and creating a new attraction for visitors.
MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that the pace of development work in Hansi city is continuously accelerating. The state government's efforts are to strengthen the city's basic amenities and provide a better urban life for the people. He directed the Municipal Council officials to ensure that all construction work is completed with quality and on time.
