Bhawanigarh, August 1:- Sangrur constituency MLA Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj gifted modern 5000 liter capacity water tanks to the villages of Lakhewal, Nandgarh, Phagguwal, Kheri Chandwa, Phummanwal, Harkishanpura and Bharaj of the constituency today. A modern fire fighting system has also been installed with these water tanks, which will ensure the safety of life and property in a more effective manner by taking immediate action during emergency situations like fire.
On this occasion, MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously working for the safety and welfare of the people along with equipping the villages with modern infrastructure facilities.
She said that timely availability of resources is very important during fire incidents in rural areas. These modern water tanks and fire fighting systems will play a vital role in providing immediate relief in such situations and minimizing the damage.
He said that the all-round development of every village of Sangrur constituency, expansion of basic facilities and ensuring the safety of the people is his top priority. He assured that in the coming times also, the needs of the people and development works will continue to be fulfilled on priority basis.
MLA Bharaj appealed to the residents of the villages to ensure the maintenance and proper use of these water tanks and fire fighting systems, so that maximum benefit can be obtained from them in any crisis.
On this occasion, Tejwinder Singh, Chamkaur Singh (Kheri Chandwa), Lakhwinder Singh (Phagguwal), Gurpreet Singh (Phagguwal), Rocky, Jagsir Singh (Jhaneri), Kulwinder Singh, Maninder Singh, Sarpanch Sukhchain Singh, Binder Khaira, Simran Singh along with a large number of villagers and dignitaries were present.
