Derabassi (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), October 25: Derabassi constituency MLA S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today launched sewerage and road works at a cost of about Rs 25 lakh in the Lucky Vihar area of ??Ward No. 8 in the presence of the Municipal Council President, Block President, MC members and officials.
The MLA instructed the officials on the spot that all these works should be completed with high quality and within the stipulated time, so that the ward residents can get the benefit of basic facilities as soon as possible.
After this, S. Randhawa launched the project of installing interlocking tiles at a cost of Rs 30 lakh in Shri Ravidas Mohalla of Ward No. 19. He said that the government’s aim is to bring development to every street, every Mohalla and no area will be left unattended.
On the occasion, the residents of Ward No. 8 and 19 thanked MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa wholeheartedly and said that these projects will solve the long-standing problems of the area.
On this occasion, MLA Randhawa said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is working according to the suggestions of the people and the ground realities. Our priority is to provide facilities to the common man - be it building streets, improving the sewage system or providing clean drinking water. He said that he personally visits every ward and every village so that the development work continues uninterrupted. He said that Derabassi constituency will become a model of development, this is his promise.
MLA Randhawa also said that the Bhagwant Singh Mann government and the Aam Aadmi Party have always stood with the common people and the biggest responsibility of the government is to live up to the trust of the people.
