Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the new tubewell project at a cost of Rs 35 lakh in Ward No. 45, Tagore Nagar. On this occasion, he said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously working to expand the infrastructure facilities in the cities and provide clean drinking water to the people.
He said that in the last three and a half years, a total of 43 new tubewells have been installed in different areas of the city by the Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur, due to which the drinking water problem has improved to a great extent. He said that the government's goal is to provide sufficient quantity of clean and safe water to every household.
MLA Jimpa said that no reduction in development works will be allowed. He instructed the Municipal Corporation officials to take utmost care of quality in the construction work of tubewells so that the citizens can benefit from it for a long time.
